Let's dispense with grandiose mission statements. I am not going to try to mesmerize you with superfluous exagerations on who I am, how I want to change the world or other nonsense. I am nearing 50 (ok, in two years, but on the cusp)but still write checks my body can't always cash. I have an incredible universe of friends whom I adore; I am an alum from U of O and love my Ducks, I play golf, I drink wine, I eat good food and I make people laugh often and heartily. I have a very contented world that still has room for a few new acquaintances and perhaps friends. The premise of carpe diem is a sound and defensible one...perhaps you'd like to seize the day with me?

My Ideal Person Is appreciative of wit, blue eyes, a well-made Manhattan and unpretentious. She would like to be a companion for wine and relaxing when I am available on visits.
